About the Journal

The Journal of Integrated Veterinary and One Health (JIVOH) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access scientific journal dedicated to advancing knowledge in veterinary medicine, animal science, and their integration within the One Health framework.

The journal focuses on interdisciplinary research addressing the complex interactions between animal health, human health, and environmental sustainability. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, animal production systems, zoonotic diseases, epidemiology, antimicrobial resistance, animal reproduction, food safety, environmental health, and sustainable livestock systems.

JIVOH operates under a full open access policy, ensuring that all published content is freely available without subscription or payment. Articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited. Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication.

All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process, ensuring scientific quality, integrity, and relevance. The journal follows internationally recognized ethical standards in scholarly publishing.

JIVOH adopts a continuous publication model, in which articles are published online immediately after acceptance and final editing. All articles are published within a single annual volume, ensuring both rapid dissemination and editorial consistency.

The journal does not charge submission fees. An Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied only after acceptance of the manuscript, covering editorial processing, peer review management, and publication costs. All applicable fees are transparently communicated to authors, and no charges are applied during the submission or review process.

The Journal of Integrated Veterinary and One Health was established in 2026 with the goal of promoting high-quality, interdisciplinary research and contributing to global scientific advancement within the One Health paradigm.
